Favija Kanto Cup is an annual sporting event organized by the Vietnam-Japan International Exchange Organization (FAVIJA), under the auspices of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan. After many years of accompanying the tournament as a sponsor, in 2024 Hoang Hai officially established FC and won the championship in its first time participating in the competition.

With a scale of 76 teams of non-professional players studying, working and living in the Kanto region of Japan, after a series of qualifying rounds taking place from March 17, the 40 best teams entered the final round and competed at REDSLAND Stadium, Saitama on April 7.
With a total of 10 groups, 40 teams competed on 8 fields in the Redsland Stadium in Saitama City. The tournament attracted thousands of fans, both Vietnamese expatriates and locals, to the stadium to cheer. The atmosphere was extremely exciting and dramatic, beyond the expectations of the organizers and Hoang Hai FC.
Known as the king of sports, in addition to creating a useful sports playground and helping to improve health, this tournament is also a great opportunity for Vietnamese compatriots to meet, exchange and connect with the community, and connect with each other in an emotional way.

The tournament ended with fierce competition and memorable moments, the championship convincingly belonged to the rookie FC Hoang Hai. The runner-up was FC T-Connect, the 2 teams tied for third place were FC Nam Dan and FC ISC Nghe An.
The organizers also awarded prizes to outstanding individuals as follows:
- Top scorer - player Vu Quang Viet FC Hoang Hoang Hai
- Excellent goalkeeper - player Le Quoc Hieu FC T-Connect
- Excellent player - Kaichi Ota FC player Hoang Hai.

Thus, FC Hoang Hai participated in almost all important tournaments of Favija Kanto Cup, this is truly a joy and a great source of motivation for FC Hoang Hai members to make more efforts for future tournaments. A typical example is the national Vietnamese football tournament in Japan, scheduled to be held in mid-November this year in Tokyo.

The entire prize money for the champion worth 300,000 Yen, FC Hoang Hai also asked permission to contribute to the fund to build a Vietnamese pagoda in Tokyo.
