Recently, at Fresca Stadium in Kobe City, Japan, the "FAVIJA KANSAI CUP 2024" football tournament took place for the Vietnamese community living, studying and working in the Kansai region.
This tournament is an annual sporting event organized by the Vietnam-Japan International Exchange Organization (FAVIJA) under the sponsorship of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan. Once again, Hoang Hai Mobile has accompanied the tournament as an annual sponsor, and FC Hoang Hai Mobile also traveled nearly 600 km to participate in the competition. This is considered an opportunity for Hoang Hai Mobile players to compete with other FC members to learn from experience as well as better prepare for the national tournament that will take place at the end of 2024.
FAVIJA KANSAI CUP 2024 has the participation of 28 teams selected from nearly 40 registered teams, divided into 7 groups and competing on 6 fields at the same time. The participating players are mainly Vietnamese and non-professional Japanese, with the spirit of exchange, learning and strengthening national solidarity as well as strengthening the relationship between the Vietnamese community and local people.
This event is not only a playground for health training and guiding young people into healthy and beneficial activities, away from social evils, but also leaves a good impression, enhancing the image and position of Vietnamese people in the eyes of Japanese people.
The tournament attracted thousands of Vietnamese and local fans to cheer. The atmosphere was as exciting and enthusiastic as in professional tournaments of this king sport.
At the end of an exciting and dramatic day of competition, the championship belonged to FC T-Connect Binh Dinh. FC Quang Tri Osaka won the runner-up prize, and the two third-place teams were FC Star and FC Nagata.
The organizers also awarded individual prizes to the players:
- Tran Dinh Xuan Loc (FC T-Connect Binh Dinh) won the award for best player
- Le Van Tai (FC Quang Tri) won the award for best goalkeeper
- Dinh Ngoc Bao (FC Quang Tri) won the top scorer award.
The winning teams will also have the opportunity to participate in the national Vietnamese football tournament in Japan, scheduled to be held in mid-November this year in Tokyo.
Although Hoang Hai Mobile - the champion of FAVIJA KANTO CUP 2024 did not win at FAVIJA KANSAI CUP 2024, but the players have had a valuable competition experience and a lot of experience for the next tournament. Let's look forward to the next performance of FC Hoang Hai Mobile!
